Support

As a subdivision of Powertech IST Data, the Support Services serves clients over a broad base in the Strategic Asset Management, Geographic Information Management and Operation Support Solutions industry. Being value added resellers for MAXIMO, GE Smallworld and Ventyx in sub-Saharan Africa, Powertech IST Data has a Support Service department that provides hot-line support during the local time zone to all our clients.

Experienced personnel are always ready to provide you with the full range of skills and support you need to rapidly and successfully implement your software solutions.

The Support Team provides software fixes, patches, work-arounds, upgrade assistance, report writing expertise, data audits and general assistance over the telephone. Users can log support queries by directly contacting the support desk, or via email, phone or fax by a third party on behalf of the client. Users are kept up to date about support calls logged via an automated email system, and can enquire about their calls on a specially developed web site.

Today, Powertech IST Data's customers span all industries in sub-Saharan Africa. They range in size from major organisations to single institutions in both the public & private sectors. To date, over 1,000 users at more than 80 sites across Africa are managing their asset maintenance needs more efficiently with the support of Powertech IST Data.

P-IST Data succeeds in providing support to their many clients successfully and efficiently for the last decade. As part of our value proposition to our client base, our support division provide support to more than 35 active clients internationally.

P-IST Data will provide, user training, product assistance and technical support during the following hours:

  • 08:00am – 16:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays (GMT+2 local time);
  • Powertech IST is normally closed between 25th of December and 1st of January. Alternative support arrangements will be made for this period.
